a walk thru time

well i hav not developed a time machine yet neither am in a mood for it. but if u do come across one do let me know. well coming to the topic, current defence conditions developed in our country has left all of us in a shock an sorrow. we all shuld o something to help our society improve and as i'm a writer, i write about the history and birth of it all.
Lets start with a small history lesson. as a country, India can surely get a medal for begin the nicest of them all. in our history of thousand years India has never initiated a war against any country. all we did was to protect our land and our pride.
Since the partition in 1947 India and Pakistan have been in a constant struggle for control over certain regions which now belongs to India. earlier there were 2 wars but they retorted to method which would later would undoubtedly the most inhuman in the history of mankind.
'jihad' is a Islamic term given to a battle or a struggle done to protects one's religion i.e. a war wage in the name of GOD. it was first used by the Muslim rulers of the great ottoman empire which rose as a downfall of the Byzantine empire(a small leftover of the great roman empire) but the funny thing is, it was not the Islamic empire tht started these wars rather the Christians. Richard, the lion heart, a British warrior started the crusades against the king Saladin who a conquered then Constantiople (now Istanbul), a religious place for both the cultures. later religious leaders and priest later formed organisations like 'knight Templar' to carry on the crusades.
well coming to the 20th century terrorism. it started in India around 1991, there were earlier instances of it but terror activities geared up after the fall of east bengal. during the 90's various terror outfits recruited young innocent guys who were unemployed or poor and brainwashed them. back then they were just trained how to use a gun but later these outfits evolved into a commando trained terror armies. coming to the modern terrorist, he is not someone with a long beard or red eyes neither they look different then me or you, just walking the wrong way. some of them are victims of international politics while some just mislead.
now u might be thinking wht good have i achieved by writing this. well good part is yet to come.
i dont know whether these young guys belong to some country or r 'non state actors' but it is my appeal to everyone around the globe, plzz dont do things just because someone told u it is for the greater good, ending thousands of innocent life is not something tht GOD would approve. the change begins with u and me, so ppl stop sacrificing urself and others just because some guy says tht it will guarantee ur place in heaven. heaven is not up for booking guys.
let peace be.

November Rain

before u reach 2 ne conclusions let me tell tht this post of my mine is not abt the song so Guns and Roses fan srry to disappoint u all. well it also not abt sum rainy day i experienced in November as u know I'm still not at tht stage of writing, but I'm certainly enjoying it. May be sumday I'll publish my book. well in tht case i shuld start preparing for an acceptance speech for Booker's prize or may be Nobel. hey, wake up dude.........how delusional am i.
well coming back to our topic, as u might hav notice up till now tht my blogging is pretty rare like a rain in November, and today happens to be November, hence i thought of this title.
well, this time i am not talking abt ne issue but jus the experience i had over oasis and Diwali. this October was total fun, well at least the second half. I know, I know it is not going to interest u all but I've nothing else 2 write abt.
Oasis was a blast and i mean it. though it started with a slightly sluggish inaug but the performance by an BITS alumni band, 'not yet over the hill' made up for it. it consisted over some bigshot dudes in their 50's trying to relive their 20's an they sure rocked. i personally love the name more than the performance. for slow minds out there, it means tht they have still not peaked in their lives. the stalls were awesome, dominos was back.....again :(, but the rolls joint godlevel. this oasis brought k.k. an euphoria to our campus and they certainly created hysteria among ppl. hey, i even got to meet BANI (ya tht right, the one in the roadies show on MTV). though i didn't see much of the competitions but street dance was awesome. after tht i had to leave for Delhi. but nothing to be sad abt coz the fun had jus begun.
it was my bro's engagement, it was a big affair for the family, the first one for our generation. so fun not so much but lots n lots of work, though i found out ways to avoid n the best way is to pretend u r taking videos and are keenly interested in it(ya I'm a genius). but i have no complains i enjoyed a lot. the whole khandan had gathered and i being the nxt in line was definitely the center of attention. but every good thing has to end and this one too did.
it was November again and i was back in pilani where a bottomless pit of test awaited me and i stepped right into it and the funny part is i wasn't forced. well no regrets, jus hope i come back flying.
adios

Status-Quo

'nice guys finish last' is a common relationship paradigm that we hear. this is the topic of my new post. not the statement, i think a lot has been said abt it and the world does not need another nice guy complaining abt it. hence this post would concentrate on the whole relation game and commitment rules.

recently i read a blog commenting on this very old issue but in a modern way. it reflecte my whole life an made me ponder on wether it is the nice guys or girls who are at the bottom of the pyramid.

why do guys always luv to go after girls who r not interested in them. wht abt the ones who always remain 'just friends' with u n never let u down, supports u and cheers u up when ur dreamgirl fails to notice u. remember the girl who sat behind u in the class and supplied u with stationary so tht u could lend it to the one sitting in front. remember the girl who did ur homework so tht u could help in doing someone elses. remember the girl who lend u her history notes when u sat in the class brooding abt the girl who never even looked at u once.

WHY, are we guys like tht? wht does it makes us, nice or a complete a**? why do we never unerstand tht there might be sumbody equaly interested in us as we might be in them. they say 'love is blind' but wat abt it being deaf and dumb, why does it never speak, hear or understand?

wht are we dealing with, a beautiful angelic experience or unjust, monstrous expression. well people hav devoted centuries on this question, finding true meaning of love. well if u find it o let me know, till then 'keep luving'
